Mission
It is our charge to support Innovation Heights Academy and The Learning Center to give all students access to a quality and enriching education.
About
We the neighbors and community member of Salmon Creek, will work with Innovation Heights Academy and Learning Center staff, students and families in the work of engaging our student’s hearts, challenging their brains and regularly affirm their importance in our world. No matter history, background, ability, race, ethnicity, religion, political or sexual orientation, we will show the attributes of connection, forgiveness and love for every student.
Principles
We are the Innovation Heights Community Advisory Board. No matter a child’s history, background, ability, race, ethnicity, religion, political or sexual orientation, we will show the attributes of connection and support for every student on the Salmon Creek Campus. We will do this by showing we are consistently caring adults in the school lives of our students. We will:
- Be mentors
- Authentically listen to our Students
- Celebrate their Success
- Help guide teachers
- Support meeting School Goals
- Volunteers Time & Resources as able
- Contribute to the overall equity in education by supporting the Highline School District Strategic Plan
